Costumes!!!!

hello everybody
so we had a great amount of success last night making the costumes, despite the small setbacks of slicing a finger open (me) and two people getting arrested for drinking beer while standing outside the shop with outstanding warrants. No pics of the community police action, but above is a teaser of the finale costume... don't want to give away the whole thing (yet) but you can see it yourself if you come on down to the basement and help us sew! I will be there tonite (weds) and tomorrow we have a practice/sewing sesh which you should all attend as well. Saturday and Sunday we will be boating and sewing/glueing furiously, in preparation for next Saturday. Nicole and I are also ordering the umbrellas and the water "feature" today, as we wait for mr. ross to work his way thru the man's system.

When you come to sew/glue please bring a pair of scissors and/or a sewing machine. we have two glue guns and about enough glue sticks, tho i suspect it will dwindle. My sewing machine is in the basement and it works, please feel free to use if you know how. there are several other machines in the basement in relative non-working order depending on the day, the humidity and your horoscope. if you don't know how to sew use one of those so you don't mess up my machine, aka the only working one.

haven't started yet? there is still time to get a team together and make a costume! if you are still looking for costume ideas this would be a good thing to come thru the portal, i think-
